This is my first time here as I was again visiting and in the area. Very pleased we stopped in: Small Mom and Pop type diners are becoming a thing of the past in our area. Of the few some have become “tired”,however, here at Franks-a-lot you will experience what you remember from your fav old school diner! The restaurant is very clean, in great repair and decor. Of all the glass partitions between booths I saw only one fresh fingerprint! I did NOT see one booth with cracked vinyl. Amazed at the standard of upkeep and cleanliness! I witnessed a cook at the restaurant handling food without gloves or washing his hands. Instead, he wiped his hands on his clothing. I observed this for about 30 minutes before advising my DoorDash customer to request a refund. As a restaurant manager myself, I understand the importance of food safety and this behavior was unacceptable. Viruses and bacteria can be present on hands if they are not washed properly, especially after using the bathroom. It is against the law for food service workers to touch ready-to-eat food with bare hands and they are required to wash their hands regularly.
Why has it taken me so long to pop in?!? This place is a GEM. It's absolutely fantastic. Our waitress was so sweet. Our dinner was truly delicious. I had the best footlong hot dog, EVER. The fries were perfectly crispy. Seriously the best hot dog spot around. I can't wait to make this a regular spot. Seriously so so good!!Food: 5/5
Oh my god, the food was incredible! This was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. The service was a bit slow, but it was quite busy so it's understandable. The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff were outstanding. We will definitely be returning in the future! Food: 5/5.

I was really hoping it would be better. Price was fair. Breakfast was ok. The hash browns only get browned on 1 side, but my issue is the cook uses mostly his hands to cook, no gloves and no handwashing after touching raw, so avoid if you are immune compromised.Food: 3/5
On the way out to our car, I slipped on the sheet of ice that covered half the parking lot. We live in Michigan, so I am usually a pro walking on ice. Lol Service was great, seemed like 1 waitress was working, and she handled everything well.Food: 3/5
Now this is a great find!!! Don't expect something fancy and you won't be disappointed. The service is great and staff extremely friendly! I had the marinated chicken sandwich and would recommend it!Food: 5/5
I love this place. It's a staple in the community and the food and prices are great! I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast skillet or a coney.Also they have huge fluffy pancakes!!!Food: 5/5

We're from Texas and always eat here when visiting my Mom. Breakfast portions stay with me till lunch and them Coneys and fries for later hit the spot. Shannon and Cheri are super nice too!!
