I've been a consumer with Frank's Pizza in Pompton Lakes, N.J. What I like about them is that they know me. I always order a big pure pizza and fried rest. To finish everything, they answer my name when I go in the door of their facility. Today December 06, 2013 I call and they hold me tight. So I call Tony's pizza 500 yards from them, the line was busy. So I'll call Franks again and give them a second chance. They took my order fried Calamari, Peporoni rol and a ham and cheese Calzon. If you order any of these things, they give you a very small container of marinara sauce, in my opnion I know that there is not enough for the meal. I only had a very bad pizza, although I was expressive with the young lady who took my order. I asked for a big sausage pizza, browned, not burned (specifically asked, not black). She said that means well done. Not only was the pizza black on the bottom, the edges were over, it had three very large bubbles with practically no sauce or cheese on them and they also poured over on the sausage. Most places populate these bubbles and add some cheese for the Goof. This place populates the bubble, hoping that you do not see the lack of ingredients. And they did it. You have got to be kidding. If I wanted Pizza Soup I would have ordered it. The quality of the food, the questionable service and the lack of professional care to the customer is appalling, an insult to any customer and an insult to the restaurant profession. It matters not that they may have won some unspecified award in 2010, what matters is the here and now. If my experience is indicative of others who have not posted I would recommend that you steer clear of this restaurant. New Jersey has more food options from pizza to falafel and restaurateurs who value your patronage and take pride in the quality of their product. When I moved here in 2002, Fanks Pizza was the best pizza compared to all local pizza restaurants. Later I noticed a change of taste and the cheese is not as plentiful as years past. I'm disappointed and bought my pizza elsewhere. Reserva una mesa ahora
