Back to the future! Hubby and I were born/raised in Wyandotte. Both of us had fond memories of Franks. Live in FL now. In MI to visit family. Decided to get pizza at Frank 's for nostalgia if nothing else and then walk around downtown. Got their deep dish. OMG!! We are devoted Buddy 's pizza fans and order Jet 's in FL as they are closest. Frank 's beat both of them! Hands down best deep dish we 've had. Not quite as deep as Buddy 's, but crispy edges and light, tender dough with excellent quality toppings. And the sauce on top...to die for! I could have eaten it by the spoonful or put it on pasta. Antipasto salad also great. So much fun for us reminiscing with another patron who is friends...
The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. Our waitress clearly needs retraining; I had to search for her twice just to get a soda refill, and again for napkins, but I never managed to find her. She seemed disinterested and neglected not only us but her other tables as well. On a positive note, the hostess was very kind and ended up attending to us for the remainder of our visit. Overall, I was quite disappointed. I think I’ll stick with Vito’s, where the waitstaff truly takes care of their customers.
We hadn't visited Frank's in years, but we recently rediscovered it. We went once for drinks and twice for dinner. The restaurant has been completely renovated since our last visit, and the interior is stunning and more spacious. Both times we were there, the service was excellent and the food came out quickly. They've removed some of the old pasta dishes from the menu, so be prepared for that. It's definitely worth a visit!
Pizza was very salty, not enough sauce. Mushrooms not whole cut into pieces. Two dining , had to get up to get another plate, had to get my own silverware and napkins. We were sitting behind service area. Not offered water. Total disappointment. Would not recommend

The waitress completely ignored us during our meal, and it took a long time for the hostess to come over and assist us. I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant.
Came today for the Wyandotte street fair with my grandma and came back here for delicious pizza I remember getting ever since I was little never gets old I love it here.
Great pizza, we tried both the white sauce and the red. Both great! And the chicken wings were delicious as well! Nice and crispy. We will definitely return.
The restaurant offers clean, Detroit-style pizza with quick service. The waitstaff is friendly and cheerful.

Walked through for the Wyandotte fair and Kacey was amazing! 10/10 will be back just because of her!
Franks is a family fave! There food is very consistently delicious!
