Frank's Steak & Schnitzel Haus

The atmosphere and service were great. The buffet sounded wonderful, offering a great selection,therefore no need to read the menu and make a decision. It was looking like a great dining experience was to be had. Then we went to the buffet. The food was gross to mediocre. The beef tasted steamed, the roast potatoes were hard. The salmon was ok. The ribs had good flavour and also tasted steamed but not as bad as the beef. Veggies soggy and lacking flavour. The coleslaw was acceptable. Beets, which I assume came from a can, was the best choice there.There were other selections that we did not try. Even the deserts did not get a wow.

The food was delicious!!! We started with a goulosh soup which was fantastic and then schnitzel. Lots of schnitzel which was crispy and clearly fresh made. My only suggestion would be having more spaetzel so there's a better ratio to the schnitzel.

Stopped here on the way to Invermere for lunch. We had a chicken schnitzel a sandwich and a meal with sauce and steamed veggies. Food was excellent, but had to go looking for our waitress to get our check.

I am definitely a regular at franks. They have one of the best prime ribs I've ever had. It's a little on the pricy end for sure, but for the amount of food and the quality of food it's totally worth. Reserva una mesa ahora

Every trip to Cranbrook I make a point to dine at Frank's...another great dinner tonight!  Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the hospitality is genuine...see you in a couple months :

I have only been here for lunch a few times and it has always been great. The staff is always very pleasant and make the dining experience enjoyable.

Tasty. Enjoyed a great steak here found it perfectly cooked and enjoyed the meal. Not cheap but a good steak isn't usually. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very good food; tasty schnitzel; prices were high, but portions huge My wife had a 1/2 size
