We began with some cocktails, but I was a bit surprised by how milky the espresso martini was. We also ordered a few starters, though they were somewhat disappointing. The arancini could have used more béchamel sauce inside, and I think a fruity marinara would have complemented the dish better. However, the arancini were wonderfully crispy and flavorful when not drenched in sauce. On the other hand, the calamari were quite chewy, and we ended up leaving a significant portion uneaten. I also felt there was no need for single-use plastic cups on this dish; sustainability starts with the little things.

The Meat board was probably the disappointing order I've had in the last year. Was expecting some more toppings... (maybe a chutney or a creamy cheese I mean anything really) not just meat and cheese and bread that wasn't really that great. Plus it was expensive. The bread with the Spinach artichoke dip was cold and soft and almost tasted stale. It would've been so much better if it was toasted. Salad was easily the best part of the meal which is not what we were hoping for. I will revisit in a few months and see if I can give them a better rating but with all the other options downtown I wouldn't revisit normally.
This restaurant has the worst service in Grand Rapids. I have no idea how it?s in the 4 range. The interior had food left over all the tables like a bad Applebee?s. The waitress did not know or understand what gluten-free was. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour to get our food with only 5 parties sitting at the restaurant. The food was 6/10 at best. 1/10 for the wait staff that showed no sense of urgency. When going back inside to check out what may be taking so long the staff was all sitting at the bar socializing. We will not return and urge others not to waist their money here.

4.7/5 Stars Let me start by saying I ordered large pepperoni pizza, 10 piece chicken wings, and bread sticks. Absolutely, all of it was outstanding! I can't say enough about the pizza! It was some of the best pizza I've had around here, that's for sure. The breadstciks had a different take on a traditional breadstick, but I loved it. I would highly recommend trying this place out! The only downside is that I thought it was a little pricey for the pizza. It's not outrageous, but on the higher end, for sure
On the positive side, I find the atmosphere to be casual and enjoyable, though the music was a bit too loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation without raising my voice. Nonetheless, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I noticed that most of the other dishes being served looked appealing. I might have just happened to choose the wrong dish on an off night. I'm willing to give Fratelli's another try and will update my review based on my next experience.
Fratelli's is a great restaurant. We were told 30 minutes to an hour wait for a walk-in on Saturday night and we were seated in 20 minutes! Our server was oh so sweet. Our drinks were great. I loved my bridge street cocktail. My custom pizza was hot, refresh and delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks and dinner, too. Highly recommend stopping in if you haven't before. I also loved the moss art in the women's restroom on the basement level!
The food is excellent, with a great variety for any type of evening you might be having. I absolutely love trivia night on Wednesdays! However, getting a drink or settling your bill can be incredibly frustrating, as the bartenders seem more focused on socializing with each other than attending to customers. So, while I would give the food five stars, the service unfortunately rates a zero.

Mello killed it tonight. He manned the register and kept all the customers happy and fed. Best breadsticks I’ve ever had. Thank you mello and the gang in the back. Y’all make the world go round.
We had my son's first birthday party here and it was great! Easy to work with, friendly staff and great food and space. Perfect for a party of around 20. Would highly recommend
