I was visiting family and realized I hadn't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic. I ordered a chicken sandwich and knew I had to add their jalapeño poppers, which have been my comfort food since childhood. When I pulled up to the window to pay, I was greeted with a big smile and a chewy chocolate chip cookie in exchange for my card. I was taken aback, and when I finally got my card back, I managed to say, "thank you so much." The gentleman at the window handed me my food (which was DELICIOUS) and waved me off cheerfully. Later, my brother told me that they started giving out cookies as a small gesture of gratitude to customers for their continued support throughout the pandemic.
I stopped by after searching for a quick place to eat. While scanning the menu, a staff member recommended the beef and sausage combo, claiming it would change my life. My life is already pretty good, but who wouldn't welcome a little change? This sandwich is indeed a game changer. I asked him to prepare it as if it were for himself, and wow! It was packed with juicy peppers. The portion was huge, and it was moist and delicious. The sausage was fantastic, and the beef was tender and amazing. What a combination! I will definitely return the next time I'm in town. Treat yourself to one of these!
Consistently great food and great employees. No matter what your choose at Fratellos 2, you can be confident that it will be properly prepared and served with a smile. Try the patty melt! You don't often find them on menus anymore and it's delicious. Italian beef and Italian sausage are as tasty as any true Chicagoan can appreciate. Employees always seem genuinely happy andappreciative. Give them a visit and you'll end up making it a habit.
We make it a point to stop by this restaurant every time we're in town, and we've never been let down! My husband was recommended the Italian beef with sausage, dipped, and he devoured the entire sandwich! Now that we're on our way to Denver, we picked up a gyro and some wings to go—we just can’t get enough of their delicious food! I've been a fan of Fratellos for many years! I first dined there in the 90s and early 2000s. After being away for 20 years and then returning, I'm thrilled to see that they are still going strong. The food tastes just as amazing as it did all those years ago. I'm so glad to be back and savor a little piece of heaven. Thank you for staying true to your roots and consistently serving the best food!
We decided to try this restaurant after noticing how busy it always was, and now we understand why it’s so popular – it’s fantastic! The food is consistently fresh and generously portioned. My wife absolutely loves the burgers, and we both think the shakes are amazing! Highly recommended; you won't be disappointed!
