the restaurant is located in the narrowlkeller bed and breakfast in donauwörth and has a beautiful, cozy beer garden there. they order the drinks and eating (biergarten) at the bar and pay for everything immediately. the food is then delivered to the table, drinks are self-service. if they are there for the first time, the waitress could explain it briefly, otherwise they could sit on the table and wait for the card without someone coming (more others did the same) but once they know no problem. we ordered the bark roast with spaetzle and by the side as well as the vegan pulledjack burger (with jackfruit) and french french fries. the burger was delicious and juicy, the fries were crispy, and there were delicious homemade ketchup. the bratbeef is very good in itself, the meat is really tender and the spatzle is also ok. but the bark roast sauce is not good with the good quality of the meat, which tastes like a finished product and is also quite thick, which is a shame. only 4/5 stars. then it is better not to offer this dish, the soße it will break a bit or make a decent sauce itself. the salat served with it was again very good with an excellently seasoned dressur. Conclusion: Definitely worth visiting, but actually with a focus on vegetarian vegan dishes, roast beef somewhere else (unless the sauce is better at some point).

we celebrated a birthday here. I have to say I loved it. the vaulted cellar is pleasantly cool and has a really nice ambiente. the drinks and eating are also excellent. there is also something for carnivores. at the time we ordered a birthday cake. it was very delicious and beautifully decorated. the personal is very friendly and cares for everything. I will visit this restaurant in future more often.

I roasted with sparrow last night. the spatzle was good, the roast beef was very delicate, but the sauce poured over it was like a swarm and did not taste at all. either it comes from an imeric standard sauce or the cook does not know how to make sauce for roast beef. in short: disappointing. a vegetarian restaurant that offers such a meat dish, makes its guests a service and not themselves.

delicious food, beautiful location, competent, friendly staff. several dishes for selection that are gluten-free and after consultation, will be extra attention to the impurities. I felt very comfortable there as a zöliakie!
