Freda's Cafe - Reserva de mesa

Upon arrival, we were asked if we had a reservation and if we were bringing our own drinks. Once seated, we were taken aback by the menu prices—almost $15 for a regular bowl of soup, though I do have to admit it was quite good, as were the $20 bite-sized spring rolls (which were actually just two full-size spring rolls cut in half). Our server seemed affronted that we only spent $50 on those three items without ordering any entrees. Adding to our disappointment, we were each given just one bread roll and a single pat of butter for the entire meal. Our water was only refilled once as well. I would give Freda's 10 stars! We had an absolutely fabulous dinner! Fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. We lucked out and walked in without a reservation and were able to grab the last available seat of the night. Next time we will make a reservation to be sure we don't miss out! The restaurant is very small but that's the charm! Our waitress was an absolute delight. I had the baked brie appetizer amazing! For dinner we ordered the beef wellington and steak with bacon and it was fabulous! And be sure to save room for dessert!! Oh man, now I am craving Freda's! Highly recommend!

Hidden gem of deliciousness ! The atmosphere is super intimate like having dinner in a good friends parlor . The food is unique and delectable. Everything is made from scratch even the salad dressing and it shows .A don’t miss when you are in town !As a bonus , all the staff are so friendly and feel like a good friend you are catching up with . Can’t wait to go back .

Lamb chops were good, would have been 5 stars on food alone but they took 50+ min to come out, also the bisque tasted strange and they do all their receipts by hand. The waiter also packed my food and accidentally threw away some. Everything overall just seems inefficient, from the food prep to getting the check and receipt, which impacted the experience. I've been dining here for years, and the food has consistently been fantastic. The staff is also exceptional, making it well worth the price! As for vegetarian options, my mother is vegetarian and always finds a dish she enjoys whenever we visit.

Crab cakes and steak were delicious and our server was so sweet! The soup and salad were both a bit too salty for my taste. Overall would definitely come back again. Reserva una mesa ahora

The most delicious crab cakes I’ve ever tried. Cozy atmosphere. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Was rather quick service too.
