Fred's Seafood - Reservar una mesa

This was my first time going to Fred's Seafood. The Haddock Dinner was SO fresh with 2 nice pieces. I opted for the onion rings which were hand cut and really good. My boyfriend got fries with his. Fries could have been cooked longer..other than that YUMMY!! The cost (with no extra charge for onion rings) was 8.35 for Haddock Chips, more than plentiful! Okay, this is a hole in the wall establishment so don't be surprised. Only 6 tables to sit at but at 5pm that was not an issue for us, plenty of seating. Ordered at the register, paid and that was it! VERY good and will be going there again. Can't beat the price and portions.

I give Fred's Seafood four stars for its amazing and affordable seafood, though the ambiance leaves something to be desired. It's a charming local spot that feels like a hidden gem. The restaurant offers large portions of freshly fried seafood alongside a fresh seafood market. I ordered the fried mussel and scallop plate for $17, while my wife enjoyed the fish and chips for $7.65. I highly recommend Fred's to anyone looking for delicious, fresh fried seafood at very reasonable prices. They also serve chowder, lobster bisque, and lobster rolls in two sizes.

Billy is retiring, and his last day will be Friday, July 2nd. In my opinion, it's the best seafood around. It will certainly be missed and will be hard to replicate. I wish Billy all the best in his well-deserved retirement, and I plan to be there on Friday to shake his hand and thank him in person.

Fred's always had the best fried seafood, fresh fish and the lobster bisque and chowder are brilliant! I wish Fred and family a happy retirement and my family will surely miss the great food!

This restaurant is a great spot for the freshest fried seafood. You won't find sole chips this delicious for under $8 anywhere else. It's no-frills dining, open Monday to Friday.

The lobster and crab are always excellent here. It's a fantastic spot to escape from the suburbs and enjoy authentic seafood.
