Free Range On Huntingdale

Dear god... The amount of Lamb-gasms I've had here is ridiculous. This is the most tasty and fulfilling lamb I've ever eaten. Likely to be my number one souvlaki joint! A good range of fresh salads too. One of the best days of my life was when I ordered a lamb Gyros pack. It took 3 separate eating sessions to finish and boy was I messed up after! An overdose of endorphins and calories seen me struggling to go about normal every day life. Owners have changed in recent months, which honestly scared me, as I was concerned the food might change also. Don't regular here as much as I used to but I think the food is still the same.

Nice little place with friendly staff. I ordered the lamb pack which included a very generous serve of lamb, chips and two salads for $14. Although the Lamb was tender and tasty it was a little too salty for me. Chips were nice and crisp and the salad was fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back to try their famous gf chicken next time. They also have eft with no minimum which is convenient.

Great roast chicken that keeps moist even when eaten the next day usually find most from other places go a bit dry once they've been refrigerated. Their rice stuffing (gluten free is divine too! can tell they take more pride in their product unlike other chicken places in the Huntingdale Oakleigh area. Super convenient for quick midweek takeaway dinner! :

We placed a big order for an office lunch. The kebabs were ridiculously large but the feedback from everyone was that they sat like lead in their stomach and that the lamb was too salty. There is also no vegetarian option for the kebabs (no falafel etc) which was disappointing. Reserva una mesa ahora

The place has gone downhill dramatically. Chicken is now really salty and the chips are pretty mediocre. Staff are very friendly but the food is not great anymore. We miss our fortnightly chicken and chips...

This restaurant has closed and is now under new ownership with a new name: Chook Shop Charcoal Chicken in Huntingdale. The food is much better, the establishment is always clean, and the staff are fantastic.

The new management is fantastic! I highly recommend this place. They have a new phone number: 03 8372 2222. Just a heads up, I had to look for the number online since it was only listed at the bottom.

Great free range food. Excellent customer service. Wide range of salad to choose from. The portion is huge, so sharing of 1 meal is possible. Not expensive at all. I'll definitely go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

not safe on other items, but the huh is very nice and my family loves their rice-based filling. chips also good. also have a better selection of beautiful salads than most other places

My favorite restaurant has a fantastic variety of salads and offers generous portion sizes. The service is incredibly friendly and prompt.
