Now that I’ve gotten my overly critical rant out of the way, let’s focus on the positives. The tinfoil art? It’s so intriguing that you can't help but want to try making your own. The staff? Thankfully, they aren't in uniforms, and they seem to genuinely enjoy working there, providing decent service without being overly formal. The decor? I actually think the motorcycle is kind of cool, and I love that they have a picture of Mr. T on their tea dispenser. I usually adore this place and have given it a 5-star rating in the past. However, I visited today and ordered a bowl with chicken and steak, and unfortunately, the steak was practically inedible. Half of the pieces were so fatty that I struggle to chew them enough to swallow. The other half was charred to the point where the pieces were nearly dangerous due to their sharpness. I don't know what went wrong this time, but I've been coming here since I was 16, and this is my first negative experience. Typically, everything is perfect. Thanks for always being amazing!
The service is excellent, and the staff vibes seamlessly with the overall setting. I find the food to be on par with Chipotle and Qdoba, but it’s the inviting atmosphere that truly elevates Freebird above the rest. Additionally, Freebird offers a Lite Bowl containing just 350 calories, allowing you to choose healthy toppings over a base of spring lettuce mix. It was genuinely delicious!
