Great place to visit when you explore the river promenade of Port Huron. Good food. many fish selection, friendly staff, very clean, beautiful atmosphere inside, but the prices were a bit at the top. The view of the St Clair river is incredible. In the warm months there are also seats outside to enjoy the views of the river. Freighters definitely recommend visiting Port Huron.

I enjoyed a leisurely lunch with my sisters on the outdoor terrace. Our waiter was very attentive and promptly brought our drinks. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we were all pleased with our choices. I had the fish tacos, which were excellent. We also had a fantastic view of the water and a passing freighter. I would definitely recommend this place!

Place is clean. Wheelchair accessible Food was pretty bland. Chicken tenders over cooked, tasted a little fishy. BLT wedge sprinkles of bacon(barely) and way to much lettuce. Waitress forgot our cocktails Apps were amazing. Shrimp tasted weird Tried to surprise my birthday guests and was told it was coming out in front of them. Ruined. Sorry won't be back.

We celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday here at Freighters. We enjoyed delicious food and ambience, had our favorite waiter take good care of us, and as a bonus got to watch a freighter pass by under the bridge. Spent the weekend in Port Huron for work. Had never been to Freighters and decided to finally go and order some dinner. Glad I did as it was absolutely a great experience. The view, the service, the atmosphere, the delicious food and the will definitely return soon. Hailey, our server, was absolutely the best!!

The food was enjoyable, although they didn't have a sandwich that some people wanted from the menu. My salad was tasty, and the company was delightful. It was wonderful to spend time at such a great place with family we hadn't seen in a while.
