Usually do pick ups but came in and sat at the bar for dinner with a friend a few weeks ago. Had a great experience with our bartender Lesly, she gave amazing recommendations for pescatarian dishes and good white wines. My friend stepped outside at 9pm to take a call since we asked for boxes and a check. I understand they close at 9pm but they had locked the door right at 9pm. I tried to let my friend back in and the host Adan told me I couldn’t let them in past closing for safety reasons. I tried to tell him we’ve been sitting at the bar for an hour and she still had an open tab and all her belongings at the bar and still wouldn’t let her in and said he would grab a manager. [October] Enjoyed a perfect date night with my best friend! Neither of us had tried Fresko before, so we were excited to explore the entire menu. Just when we thought we were ready to order, our waitress let us know that tacos were half off, so we quickly revisited our choices! The white sangria, made with fresh lime, lemon, and orange, became my new favorite in the DSM area! We ended up ordering the kefte, beet and goat cheese salad, and the goat cheese and truffle smashed potatoes. As for the tacos—each was delicious, but here’s our order of preference: short rib first, followed by chicken with mango salsa, and then fish with jicama slaw. Great food paired with even better company!

Had a girls day brunch and it was exactly what I needed. We sat bar side; Jenna and Leslie were awesome! Super nice and attentive! On top of things. Did not have to wait long or at all for refills on bottomless mimosas. We got carried away and was there for awhile and did not feel rushed at all. Absolutely incredible! As someone with celiac disease, I was thrilled to find so many delicious options available. The Korean ribs and the candied yam crème brûlée were standouts during my visit and quickly became my favorites. I can't wait to return! Dietary restrictions: Celiac-friendly.
