Friendly Bean Coffee

I believe today will be my final visit to this restaurant. The service was good overall, but I consistently get charged three different prices for the same drink I order regularly. If I didn't come here often, I wouldn't have noticed the pricing inconsistency. I don't mind if the prices go up, but I expect consistency in the pricing. This has happened multiple times in the past, but today I finally spoke up about it to the server. Unfortunately, she was dismissive and still charged me an extra 50 cents. It's not about the small amount of money, but the inconsistency in pricing is frustrating. I hope they can address this issue and provide a more reliable experience for customers like me who...

After a terrible morning filled with emotional turmoil, including the passing of my uncle and various other problems, I decided to treat myself to a coffee to lift my spirits. When I arrived at the drive-thru and realized I had left my card at home for payment, I felt like a mess. The kind Barista at the window saw my distress, and despite my request to cancel the order, a man overheard and gave me the coffee for free. They may have just wanted to move on to the next customer, but their act of kindness meant the world to me in that moment of need. So, thank you.

I’ve been getting coffee at Friendly Bean for over 10 years. Easily one of the best coffee shops in KC, Homemade pastries, great staff and the best coffee. They are constantly showing off new combinations.Today I tried a Curry Ginger Latte. How was it? It was great! Never would I have put those together, but another home run for the Friendly Bean!
