They usually close for the Winter months - from mid-December to. March. Well they're back in business and will be making a lot of people happy.Their fries - and POUTINE - are the best in the whole of Ottawa. Some people even come from the other side of the river just to enjoy the poutine. Business is always booming - they are extremely busy. No need to wonder why once you've been there...By the way, don't let their shack scare you away. it's their trademark !!!!!!!!!

I love this place! Maybe a little too much sometimes but honestly they have amazing food. Its small and deceiving but its definitely one of those places you try once and youre hooked. They are super friendly and the food is always fresh and hot. It sounds crazy cuz its just burgers/fries/sausages/etc. but they make it right! Prices are very reasonable and portions are definitely filling. Check it out :))

Last week, my wife had a craving for poutine, not the new poutinerie style of poutine, just the regular old fashioned kind with lots gravy and cheese curds. So we Google'd "best poutine Orleans," and up came Fritomania. Best poutine ever, not so sure, but very good, and LOTS of cheese. Prices were reasonable, and included tax! Service was fast! Definitely worth visiting again!

I grew up in Montreal and I approve of this poutine! Good cheese. Good ratio of cheese, fries, sauce. Best in the Orleans for sure. Fun shack. Wish they had parasols with the picnic tables.

Fritomania's poutine is excellent. The place is inside a shack - but as they say - you can't judge a book by its cover. You will not want to go elsewhere. Too bad they close in the winter.

Fritomania is a go-to spot for poutine! My husband and I treat ourselves to a family size poutine twice at year, sitting at the picnic tables on St. Joseph.

My family and I ONLY go to Fritomania for poutine. We never consider going anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome.
