Take a wonderful restaurant with a deck slung over a valley, a late summer 's evening, and a colourful sunset. Add in good beer, great appetizers and a hardy menu of Swiss favourites and you have all the ingredients for a great evening. Call in advance for an outside table on a busy night. The Currey and Kalbs Cordonbleu were big hits at our table, as was the well named desert, Coupe Romanoff that could amply serve two people. Enjoy your evening, and plan to visit several times~great service, great atmosphere, great cuisine.
Three of us enjoyed a Rice Casimir, two savored a mixed salad out on the terrasse, while viewing the colorful rolling Emmental-Hills. With good friends, very quickly an exhilarating discussion got going, while also enjoying a glass of wine. The caring staff served us in perfect time, always with a happy smile and some fun comments. Thank you for accommodating us, during a very busy lunch time so well.
Sadly the only good thing is the view. A table of 5 and one person was just stuck on the end of two tables. My Salad was dry and lacking on dressing. Seemed a shame as looked nice. The Schnitzel was thinly cut a money saving trick and overall overpriced for what it was. You obviously pay for the view!
