I primarily visit this place for the taho, to be honest. Each time I interact with a particular lady who appears to be Chinese but is actually Filipino, I feel discouraged. She speaks Tagalog and is always multitasking, yet no matter how you phrase your questions in either language, she seems to misunderstand. I wish she would stop FaceTiming while working—maybe then she could better comprehend what customers are trying to communicate! That said, the taho itself is decent and the closest version to what I grew up with, but the price is outrageous! I can get a much larger serving that costs over $12 in Flushing for under $5!

This review is for their new location in Emerson, NJ. I'm giving it one star for the small on-site grocery store. The baked goods were not fresh, despite the staff insisting that the items I purchased had been baked that day. Specifically, I bought hopia ube, hopia mongo, and ensaymada macapuno, and all of them were dry and crumbly. I'm disappointed that they closed the Bergenfield location and moved here. I won’t be coming back.

It taste like real Spanish bread with a fraction of the filling. Absolute rubbish compared to what the local Filipino grocery makes. Monggo was our first try and shame on Fritzie's, second time shame on us giving them a second try.

This is the best and most affordable bakery in the area! The flavor of the treats makes it well worth the price and the effort it takes to visit the shop. Reserva una mesa ahora

Filipino brioche, great for coffee and your early morning cappuccino. Toast it for 5 minutes and it comes out steamy soft delight.
