Front Street Cafe - Reservar una mesa

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Although the menu was rather limited it had all the basics. My husband ordered the standard 2 egg breakfast, the portion of both the ham and the potatoes were very generous. I had the omelette, no complaints, the veggie fillings were fresh and the eggs were fluffy. The third in our party had the eggs benedict special on their own homemade biscuit. He ate every bite. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced.By far though the most outstanding aspect was the service. The waitress was amazing. Driving through Wolfville, we decided to stop at Front Street Cafe after reading some Tripadvisor reviews. Great move! We had the newest item on their menu, seafood stirfry with a side of rice. Absolutely delicious with scallops, shrimp, fish chunks, tofu & vegetables in a great sauce. More than enough for 2 people. Only thing missing was a couple of nice cold beers, however they don't yet have a liquor license. Service was also very good - timely, efficient and some good info on local goings-on

A very odd or eclectic menu for sure...all day breakfasts are on the same menu as fish & chips, and Chinese dishes such as ginger beef and Kung Pao Chicken, but no sandwiches other than a club, no burgers..etc.Having said that..we ordered the breakfasts..and they were delicious. I had the French toast/3 strips of bacon for $7 and hubby had the Front Street classic - 2 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 toast for $7. Very very tasty. Just wish they served sandwiches!

Chrome table and chairs like a '50s diner -- and really good basic food ! Nothing fancy but quite flavorful. I went during off hours: not crowded! Friendly and talkative waitresses. Be sure to sit by the window for a pleasant view of the small street and foot traffic!

I have been here twice since it opened,very clean,food is good,owner is very nice and you have a choice of Canadian or chinese food,now we have in wolfville Korean and Chinese restaurants,and that is good

We had the eggs benedict which is a special they have on Saturdays. It is served on a homemade tea biscuit with home fries. It was very good. The homemade hollandaise sauce is yummy!

The staff here are very helpful. Nathalie and Steve were very nice and very helpful. I would recommend it just for those two. And the food was good too.

The Tempest was closed for lunch on boxing day so we ended up at the Front Street Cafe across the street.
