The employee at the window seemed quite unhappy. As I arrived, he was taking an order and once he finished, he started to speak negatively about the customer. He then went on to voice his frustrations about the payment system. After I paid, I was prompted to leave a tip. The food was acceptable; the fries were similar to those at McDonald's, but the burger was underwhelming. It tasted like a slightly improved Whopper, but it had way too much mayo. Additionally, they should reconsider their pricing, as a cheeseburger meal costs over $10. Overall, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit this place.

I visited Frugals for the first time, and Beverly was our amazing server. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. As soon as we reached the window, she greeted us with a smile and asked about our day. She provided excellent food recommendations for our next visit and was a delight to chat with. You rarely see such great customer service these days! I will definitely be returning!

The food is always satisfying. The service is quick and accurate. The fries taste like McDonald's fries back when they were still good and fresh, peep the secret menu on their website for tasty combos. Note that there is ALWAYS a line, and they chargefor sauces so ask for them when you order. (And there is something about their tartar...it's so good)

If you're looking for a local fast food spot that only offers drive-thru service, their burgers and fries are among the best in the south end. I'm a big fan of any place that serves fry sauce, so they earn extra points for that. The food is delicious and satisfies your cravings for a good burger!

I was on the hunt for some great lunch burgers and stumbled upon Frugals, and I was not let down. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, while the fries were hot and seasoned just right. The soda was refreshing and bubbly. Overall, this place is fantastic!

A true CLASSIC burger joint. Frugals proves that it's possible to maintain the formula that made other burger places famous. Lots of options delicious shoe string fries. Fry sauce and a shake. I love swinging through and always leave happy

Great place to grab a milkshake and a burger. Pretty simple really, good food, good prices. The fries are a bit disappointing, but I am not going there for that.
