Frupy's - Reservar una mesa

Based on our hotel's recommendation, we took a taxi across town to this restaurant. Upon initial look, it appeared to be an ice cream parlor. But after being seated, we were offered a full menu. One entree selected was Chicken bourguignon and the second was Beef in a Roquefort sauce. The beef was ordered medium and was served a tad too rare with three small medallions. The Chicken dish was more substantial. It looked like it was a pounded chicken breast under the sauce but upon eating, I discovered there were bones. Mashed potatoes accompanied both entrees as well as a dish of varied steamed vegetables. Mixture was interesting if slightly over-cooked. Two lemonadas with coco were our drinks and were delicious. The scoop of chocolate ice cream was good. The scoop of 'confetti' (sp.) ice cream was unusual but good. Total bill was 84,000p. Staff was efficient. Noisy since open sliding doors led right onto one of the major streets.

El aire acondicionado en el tercer piso no estaba encendido, la carne de la hamburguesa llegó completamente fría. El hot dog tenía el queso derretido pero frío. Desde que se ordenó la comida hasta que la recibimos, pasaron 39 minutos. Todo muy mal. Muy decepcionados por una experiencia tan mala.

La comida es muy buena, el sándwich cubano es una delicia. Creo que sus precios están en el lado más alto, lo cual para un restaurante muy acogedor se siente caro a veces. En algunos platillos definitivamente vale la pena, en otros no tanto.

The food is very good the sandwich cubano is a delight I do believe their prices are on the higher end which for a very homey restaurant feels overpriced at times. In some dishes it's absolutely worth it on others not so much.

Tienen un extenso menú, desde hamburguesas hasta pastas y carnes. Lo recomendaría. Probé varias cosas del menú y me gustaron todas.
