Fry The Coop - Reserva de mesa

We visited Fly the Coop based on a friend's recommendation. The service was attentive, and the staff was very accommodating. There was plenty of seating available, and since we went for a late lunch on the weekend, it wasn’t crowded at all. I ordered the mild Nashville chicken sandwich along with house fries, requesting the seasoning on the side. Both dishes arrived hot and looked appealing. However, the mild seasoning on the chicken lacked flavor and could have benefited from a bit more co-op sauce. The fries were average but quite tasty. I'm glad I tried the chicken, and if I come back, I would definitely opt for the moderate spice level.

It’s not often that you come across someone so young who truly loves what they do, but that’s exactly what we experienced with Edith. From the moment we walked in and faced the long line out the door, she greeted every customer with a warm smile and a courteous attitude. No matter how busy it got, her cheerful demeanor and attentive service remained consistent. Restaurants at all levels should aim to hire more people like her. We’ll definitely be returning, not just for the excellent food, but also for the outstanding service she provides. Thank you, Edith! You are a rare gem, and I believe you have the potential to achieve great things!

Do not go to fly the coop in Elmhurst on route 83 and North Avenue they cook their chicken three hours or four hours ahead of time and try to tell you that it is fresh when you tell them that you want them to make you something fresh they refuse you never know how long a piece of chicken has been sitting there I've gone there twice, and the chicken has been dried and ice cold terrible And the people that work there are not trained properly to take care of customers don't waste your money

Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh. And we love the abilotu to choose the heat level each of us wants. My favorite is their messy fries and their mac and cheese. Only thing is I wish they would bring back their old buns they were waaaay better. Reserva una mesa ahora

The service was immaculate, and the employees were genuinely kind people very diligent! Not to mention the food is pretty darn good! This was my first time having this place, and whenever I make another trip to Chicago I'll definitely be back!

Expensive for fried chicken breast. Fries are trash, soggy grease sticks. Counter person assumes too much. Chicken was borderline dry. Eatable but hard to believe they have return customers. Never again.
