Ahh.. again after over 12months since our last visit the service was terrible. In fact the female owner did not disappoint. Her surly face and short temper raised its ugly head again. New staff again (can't imagine wanting to or letting my kids work here for her) slow service then overcharged for boiled rice ($11.60 - the fried rice is $8.90). Seriously.. not somewhere I'd suggest anyone move too quick to visit. Shame. The foods actually half decent.
We have eaten here a dozen or more times, and never seen the rudeness mentioned by some. Sure, the staff tend to be young and inexperienced but this is not Est, it's just a local eatery providing some employment for local teens. The food varies from okay to good, and they do a great Chinese omelette, as I'm told their chef is an expert in these. We would eat here more often if there wasn't another place in the area that is a bit better.
Most local Chinese are only average but this one is actually really good. It is strictly cash for delivery. You can also eat in. No msg and is BYO wine if you dine in. My favourites are the vegetarian spring rolls (nice and big not just pastry) and the sang choy bow and Szechuan anything. Only drawback is delivery is often slow...but it is worth it
We thought w would have another go at this restaurant. Big mistake. Rude owner acted like we were such a nuisance turning up. Nshould have left. But we were hungry and it was late. Same old. Not bad but certainly not out of this world either. Average Chinese. You know what to expect and you get what you pay for. Food came out quick but had to remind staff we needed the rice we ordered to eat. Pretty basic. And water for the table took an eternity.
Genuine Hong Kong Chinese chef. Great food when you know what to order. Always fresh and crispy. Eat In / Pick Up / Home Delivery. Very reasonably priced. Premises could do with an upgrade but I don't go to Chinese restaurants to look at the decor.
Local neighbour hood takeaway and restaurant. The food is really tasty and good quality and such a reasonable in price so we put up with the ordinary surrounds, Good for family local where you can relax and have a beer or 3.
Reasonably nice food and good service and good prices. However the Restaurant needs cleaning up. Windows are filthy and doors are very dirty, (not a good look) The place needs a clean but otherwise all is OK. Reserva una mesa ahora
