My friends and I travel an hour and a half to dine at Fu Yuan Hibachi Buffet. We’re big fans of buffet-style restaurants, and this one is undeniably one of the best for satisfying our appetites. The food is consistently fresh during our visits, and the service does an excellent job of keeping the tables tidy. I've never heard a complaint from anyone in our group because there's such a wide variety of options that even the pickiest eaters leave feeling full. They offer everything you could desire from a buffet, including sushi and hibachi.
This place used to be one of the best Chinese buffets in Plainfield but each time I visit I am more disappointed. The food just isn't great anymore. The sushi is horrible and I'm not quite sure what's wrong with their Wasabi but it's like a tealish color and taste weird. Buckets of meat laying around behind the sushi counter didn't look sanitary. The servers were great though and always make sure your drinks are full and tables cleared of plates. Hopefully they get their spunk back.
My boys and I drive and hour and a half to go to this buffet. We love buffet style restaurants and this is by far one of the best places to get stuffed. The food is always fresh when we have visited and the service is great at keeping the tables clear.I have never had a complaint from one of them because there is so much variety to pick from everyone leaves full even the pickyeaters. They have everything you could want and more out of a buffet including sushi and hibachi.
Fu Yuan Hibachi Buffet is a clean and spacious restaurant with an extensive selection of buffet options. You'll find delectable dishes such as beef ribs, Italian sausage, fries, shellfish, shrimp noodles, crab, oysters, and king crab legs, along with six different types of hard ice. The sushi bar is remarkable, and they also offer Mongolian BBQ. Best of all, everything is served piping hot!

Seriously the best Chinese food in ALL of Indiana! Literally the only Chinese food place worth eating at in Indiana! They even do take out! The buffet is clean, and the staff is really kind and always working hard! I love this place! The chow mein/lo meinis incredible! If you want Chinese food this is the place to go! Hands down!
Food was very good for a buffet. Not my favorite by any means, but this place is really good. Hibachi is where its at, the sushi was amazing quality, but lacked imagination. Basically had 2 rolls done 5 different ways. The honey chicken and mei fun wasamazing. They also have a pretty good selection of desserts
The food was delicious, served at the perfect temperature, with a wide variety of choices available. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were well-kept, and the waitstaff consistently ensured the tables were tidy and that our drinks were refilled. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Delicious food, everything at the right temperature, and plenty of options to choose from. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were well maintained, and the waitresses make sure the tables continue to stay cleaned off and you have a fresh drink. Was all in alla good experience.
