Fu Zhong Fu Chinese Restaurant

A totally adventurous trip! The restaurant we wanted to try tonight (Mahsuri Satay) is closed. Indefinitely. We decided to go next door, and there we were greeted by the friendly hostess of Fu Zhong Fu restaurants. Upon walking in, the atmosphere in the restaurant gave me a deja vu, like I've been "there" before... "There" in memory of going to an authentic Chinese restaurant in an Asian country. In the 80's. High ceiling, red everywhere, fish pond and aquarium at the front, big screen TV, announcement board, and a VIP room in the back. Friday the 7th of August 2015 my husband and myself decided to have lunch in Victoria Park most restaurants in the area were very busy so when we saw this FU ZHONG FU we decided to have a quick lunch there i was rather surprised  that it was only us in the restaurant considering how busy everywhere else was. The reasons may be this the waitress had a very bored can't be bothered attitude she did not want to explain anything on the menu or recommend anything when i mentioned to her that customers would like to be pleasantly greeted by staff her reply was '"Do You Know That I Have Spent the Whole Day Cleaning this Restaurant"well as far as i was concerned here is no point in that if you &...

My grandma received a take away menu in her mailbox, she is a huge Chinese food fan. I ordered the healthiest option I could, bean curd with vegies and steamed rice although it was drenched in oil... actually the entire bag the food came in was covered in oil, it was horrible. My family ordered duck which was clearly chicken, the beef was also drenched in an oily sauce. the entire meal was terrible. Reserva una mesa ahora

Came here with family. Staff were rude and unaccommodating which contributes to poor customer service. Food was not great either and not of high quality. Some dishes were good whereas others were ones I would return to the kitchen as unacceptable in a chinese restaurant. Eg "birthday noodles" where dry and bland with no sauce with some vegetables. Overpriced for what you get. Disappointed.

Just walked out the restaurant for not being serviced at all after waiting 5 min. Only 5 or so customers served by 2 staff and I don't understand what they are busy with. Will never go back again. Good luck to survive in this competitive market.

Had take away kwetiao and salted fish fried rice for lunch and the place was empty. I visited this for the first time just because the convenience. The food were rather bland. Won't be back again.

Have had the lunch specials here, good value for $$.Small shop front which opens up to a large dining and special function area at the rear of the building.

Went for lunch with a mate, we shared some squid for entree, he had some noodle dish, I had szechuan chicken. They stuffed up and gave us a main meal serve
