Fuego Steakhouse

Because they had a big group of tourists, the menu was limited to meat only. For us it was ok but imagines if we had been vegetarians. The waiters were going around super hectic, still worried about the tourists group and disregarding the rest of guests. I also asked for well done meat and it wasn’t. Overall the meal was good, but the service was awful (Switzerland is not known for good service, also important to say). But I really do not recommend this place, unfortunately.

We came here for lunch last Friday after we heard that the restaurant has now new owners. The menu change and now the service is at a totally different level from before! We had two business lunches, one with meat and one with fish, and everything was prepared perfectly. Very nice cut of beef, cooked and prepared with a lot of attention. My wife had the fish also very well presented and tasty. We will definitely go back to this restaurant, with our kids as well.

Where to go on a Monday evening for dinner in Schindellegi? Two options according to TripAdvisor and we have chosen Fuego and the 3 course surprise menu. The duck carpaccio as starter was excellent, the lamb main course was average and the desert was good. The restaurant itself is a bid outdated and can use a retrofit to meet the high expectations from the website.

I went there for my birthday and it was one of the best experience I ever had . Staff where so welcoming and the food was sensational I can only recommend this restaurant they made my birthday thanks

Very good menù, staff attentive. Good meat...to be continued to try the rest of the menù. Friendly place. Comfortable seats and large tables
