This restaurant is welcoming with appropriate decor. It is larger than it appears from the outside. The buffalo mild wings are delicious and not too spicy. There is a good selection of beers available. I learned something new - breweries in New York can serve alcohol as long as it is from New York. I tried a Bourbon Cream with root beer, which tasted like a root beer float. They also have a variety of merchandise for sale.
beer ok. overcharged by $12 on a $22 bill. That's a big mistake. Note that although sandwiches come with three free topping they charged a dollar for each. Then charged for an extra beer. When I tried to correct you'd have thought it was really complicated. A total buzz kill. very very weird place. Beer wasn't great and arguing over a bill always feels unpleasant. So I'd describe the whole place as unpleasant. See
The worst beer ever After ordering amber ale and a mango blond for my wife we sat outside and I noticed a astringent taste from the amber ale. I returned it to the bar and ordered a Pilsner saying that the amber didn’t taste rightTo my surprise the bar keep charged me for the beer that I had returned!This bar tender was not friendly and SlowI would not recommend this brewery and will not be returning.
Rating: 10/10. The restaurant has a spacious layout with different seating areas. Today, we relaxed on the couch near the propane stove. I appreciated the small details like wet naps being served in a basket with the meal. The stout was excellent. This was my 5th visit and I will definitely be returning again. Cheers! The service was not very friendly. It seemed like they were not interested in serving us because we didn't want to open a tab. We waited for someone to come and ask if we wanted another beer, but eventually gave up. I have been to this restaurant before, but this experience may be my last.
Craft beer place. Nice building. Ordered a few drafts, and….they were WARM. Beer 101…UPDATE: We later learned that the coolers stopped working that day and the servers were unaware. I’ll try them again next time I’m in Old Forge ?
We had a wonderful meal and loved the Oktoberfest Lager at The FCCB in Old Forge last night! Our server/bartender was SO nice and attentive! We will be visiting again next time we're here in the ADK!
