Funnel Tunnel - Reserva de mesa

This funnel cake was absolutely delicious! We drove from Toronto to Wasaga beach to try this dessert and it was worth the hour and forty five minute drive to get there. We ordered the 8 funnel cake which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside of the fried batter cake, the recipe is perfect! It was topped with icing sugar, soft serve vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and whipped cream (not sure if this was made with real cream, we didn't end up eating this part). My only complaint was that there wasn't enough soft serve ice cream on such a large cake. We tried to finish this master piece, however it was just too big for the two of us. I like to visit Funnel Tunnel every summer as it is a franchise I enjoy. My usual order is a funnel tunnel with strawberries, which is usually delicious. However, I have noticed that the batter of the funnel tunnel has been raw and difficult to cut through and eat lately. The portion size has also gotten smaller and the prices have increased. This is just my honest opinion. I have included two images - one of the funnel tunnel and one of the iced coffee ice cream. I do not recommend the iced coffee as it has a weak coffee flavor and tastes mostly like ice. Stick to the ice cream flavors you enjoy instead.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and at the moment I am giving it one star. I ordered the chicken burger and was disappointed to find only tomato and lettuce on it, with just ketchup for condiment. The fries were also overly salty. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to try the funnel cake, so I may consider coming back another time.

Am super fan of funnel cake icecream. This restaurant have many options to pick for topping. They’re charging almost 10$ for regular size and only cash with tax included. I love the taste.Only disspointment is they dont have any specific measurement on serving the quantity. If you’re lucky and depends on the person serving your oder varies. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very disappointed at the funnel cake. It is soggy as the owner literally put soft serve ice cream on top of the entire cake. Look at the picture. So not appetizing! And they only accept CASH. Go figure!
