Gabriel’s Fountain

I can only comment on the ice cream in Gabriel's Fountain, because we had no real food there. If you are there in the summer weather season for ice, you should arrive safely before 7 a.m., as the amount will definitely build and there will be lines. To the ice itself, they seem to have a wide selection of seasonal flavor; I haven't seen many of them elsewhere. It is the type of choice where so many elections seem so good to choose it hard. I speak not only of vanilla versus chocolate... I speak Bourbon cherry or peanut butter copper vanilla etc. The staff is very friendly and works quickly to move the lines. We love going to this place!The 4 star review is due to an incredibly rude exchange that I witnessed between a supervisor and his employee. She was doing her best, to keep up with the rush of people on a beautiful spring evening and doing quite well. He was speaking down to her and distracting her while she was trying to work. She was acknowledging what he was saying and he stopped her and said ‘don’t wave me off’ or something to that effect. I was hoping that I would have her serve me, because I intended to give her a generous tip for putting up with that garbage.Anyway, if you see this, you did a great job, and I suggest you walk out on that horrible boss.Otherwise, the ice cream is amazin...

Restaurant is fine. It has kind of a diner vibe. Decent food but nothing to rave about or must try. Just fine and homely.The ice cream on the other hand is out of this world. Large selection of base flavors, and usually half a dozen seasonal flavors that are to die for. They also have vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and sugar free options. Good prices and also a great local family management atmosphere.My favorite is the black raspberry truffle but their seasonal kegnogg gingersnap is a close second.

Whether a hot summer day or a cold snowy day, the fountain always makes you feel welcome and cared for. The food is great, the atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are always friendly and helpful. This review is for the ice cream. I am a huge fan of banana ice cream and banana flavored desserts, so I tried the roasted banana flavor from this restaurant. It was the best I've ever had! I live an hour away, but I'm already planning on getting another pint. It's a must-try for me now that I've had it.

This restaurant is fantastic. The ice is great. We celebrated my father's 80th birthday dinner here. The staff was attentive and the menu was well-executed. Every dish was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place!

I've been going here for a little over a year and have never had a bad meal. Portions are generous and staff is always friendly. The ice cream is made in house, flavors can be a little bizarre but delicious.
