This turned out to be a great place for beer and lunch. The beers on tap are from the local brewery which were good. They have a lot of other alcoholic drinks available as well if beer isn't your thing. As for the food, both dishes were delicious. The smoked trout was very balanced between the smokiness and natural flavor of the fish. The lamb kebab was amazing, the lamb itself had great flavor and tasted good without the herb sauce provided (which was also good). The vegetables and the fries were just as good, the natural flavors of the vegetables bringing out the lamb flavor. Definitely a good place to grab a bite to eat.

Authentic German food! From my experience, reservations aren’t needed for lunch on a Sunday! I would love to see this restaurant have more business because the food is really good!! The wait staff are super kind. One reviewer posted about bees and flies.. that is ridiculous because what do you expect the staff to do about it? If you have a problem eating outdoors, then go inside! The patio has beautiful flowers and vines. It is shaded. Honestly couldn’t be more happy with our dining experience. Note, the flies and bees were at no point bothersome to us! HIGHLY recommend

Our experience at this restaurant was fantastic, both in terms of the delicious meal we had and the enjoyable time we spent. The friendly gentleman and young lady who served us, made the experience even better. We're eagerly looking forward to returning and trying out more dishes from their menu.

Wir sind per Zufall auf das sehr schöne, kleine Restaurant in einer Seitengasse gestoßen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Netter, sympatischem Chef. Freundliches Personal. Und ein super Essen zu tollem Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Das nächste nal gerne wieder!

I happened to land here today on the first day of reopening. Super friendly staff, totally cozy and the flame cake was fantastic, very light, crispy and fresh and very tasty. I'll be back.
