Gaetano's Italian - Reserva de mesa

The Gaetano 's in Spring Valley (open some weekdays for lunch) and the Gaetano 's in Lakeside (open for dinner only) are owned by brothers. I took myself out at noon today for lunch. I asked the hostess if I had to follow the menu exactly, and she replied, Each item can be served like you want it to be! What a treat! So, I ordered the fettuccine with marinara sauce, both garlic bread dinner bread, a salad w blue cheese dressing (on the side), 1 meatball, 1 sausage, a glass of red wine, and spumoni! As for the food, the lasagna used to be rich and delicious, but this time it was quite ordinary—more like something you’d expect from a frozen dinner than a restaurant. The bread also arrived at the table after I had already finished most of my lasagna, and there was no bread served before the meal either, which was quite disappointing. The service was slow, but I can understand that they were busy. While I shouldn't let that slide, considering they should be equipped to serve their customers efficiently, I do sympathize with the waitstaff; it’s not entirely their fault. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

They became our new favorite first visit the authentic family owned welcoming atmosphere, real authentic home country Italian food and flavor. I had the linguine precatore the sauce was great and there was not an overpowering smell or flavor of the shell-fish it was a great experience all around. We would love to visit at least once a week.

Had a variety of dishes. The salads were fresh and tasty. The pasta dishes were excellent. The portions are generous and are plenty for two people. For a Saturday night, the dining room wasn’t very busy. However, there was plenty of pickup traffic. Reserva una mesa ahora

Super fun place to eat. Everyone we interacted with was fun (and funny), and the food was old-school-Italian-restaurant great. If I lived closer I would go here all the time.

Food and service are great. The dining room has horrible acoustics. Too many hard surfaces the room reverberates. I could hear every conversation clearly from every table.

The food is incredibly authentic and delicious. They offer daily dinner specials, and everything is prepared fresh. There's also a wonderful selection of wine to enjoy.
