Gajulea - Reserva de mesa

My wife and I visited Gajulea based on a referral we got from Chateaux Pesquie (good winery in Mormoiron). It was a very high quality diner with a perfect table on the terras with a wonderful view. How the menu works is a tiny bit...complicated, but you can choose the mains and you get the starter, dessert and amuses. And you can pick your own wine from the cave/cellar. Very innovative! We choose among other the Pigeon (very very tasty) and the lobster salad (homard) which was also very good. Prices of the menu were in line with the quality of the food, with drinks and wines at very reasonable prices! If you are looking for a 'premium ' dinner this is a very good and special spot!

We visited this restaurant completely by chance , we were on our honeymoon and recovering from a disappointing experience with our booking of the night before. We found the attention we received to be impeccable , the food was original, exciting and mouth watering ....We sat on the terrace with pleasant countrysideviews and the novelty of physically being able to choose from a wide variety of wines was most unusual. The timings between courses were perfect and meeting the chef at the end gave a grand conclusion to the whole evening. We must return one day.

The restaurant only opens on Friday and Saturday, with only one menu the lobster menu on offer, but it was well worth it. The terrace has spectacular views across the valley, the staff are helpful and the food is divine. Both lobster courses...were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Instead of offering us a wine list, we were invited to choose a wine from the well-stocked cellar an unusual but interesting experience. We were so impressed that we returned later in the week to eat at the bistro Les Entrepots, which is part of the same business. Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I enjoyed an evening in July on the balcony at Gajulea however we were not prepared for the cool breeze that developed as the evening went on. The food was well presented and very French until the dessert course. Unfortunately, as the...temperature dropped, the courses also got colder ending with sorbet and then an ice-cream dessert. As visitors to France, we were looking forward to a dessert more typical of French cuisine.

This is an outstanding local restaurant, of course with a serious top French Chef! The outside terrace at the back has plenty of room to provide social distancing and boasts stunning views. There is also an excellent cellar with a wide range of southern Rhone...wines, some good value if you know what you are after. The lobster menu was delicious. The service good and all in all, a lovely evening.

Booked this whilst still in UK so you’re never quite sure what it’ll be like. However, it was a wonderful experience. The food was fabulous (we went for the tasting menu) and it was great fun going into the cellar to choose our wine. We...were able to sit outside as it was such a warm evening and that definitely added to the experience.

Good service and friendly ambiance . Delicious cooking, use of many herbs etc but you can taste very well the real product. Good wines many are local which you can choose yourself from a big glass cupboard. Reserva una mesa ahora
