Galinas BBq - Reservar una mesa

I've had a number of Portuguese BBQ and rotisserie chicken dinners around but this one is the only one I return to on a regular basis. This is an intimate neighbourhood restaurant with home-style cooking. Her BBQ chicken is tasty and tender; always hot, rotisserie...chicken is also great. Highly recommend to try other great Portuguese dishes, particularly fish and seafood. She makes the best roasted potatoes too. The food here tastes like you're visiting your Portuguese mother's kitchen. The service is always very friendly.

These Portuguese Chicken places are popping up everywhere in Vaughan. I can count 6 off the top of my head. One of our company meetings was catered by Galina's. The Chicken was on the dry side and was baked instead of grilled. The Hot sauce...was not hot at all and was oily. Typical fare at these places is Chicken, Rice, Potatoes and Salad. I prefer the grilled style at Nando's and their Peri-Peri sauce is better at Nandos as well.

Took my Mom today for Mother’s Day (Portuguese I might add) and this place was a hit. Quaint place with surprising setting as I thought it was small from the outside. Perfect size. Food is delicious from the chicken to the fish. I loved the...octopus and the potatoes. Try the custard cakes for desert. Such flavour. Olives were excellent as well. Will definitely go back. Prices are also great. A true gem north of Toronto.

I started to come here after a friend told me about this place. I've already ordered take out from here five or six times already and seriously they never disappoint. I always get the family deal, one whole chicken and two medium sides (rice and...potato balls). The chicken is always tender and juicy and the sides are more than generous portions!! Definitely a must and those lazy days I don't feel like cooking.

we ordered galinas takeout for the first time about the Christmas holidays 2019, the gentleman on the phone was very polite and patient and helpful to advise me what to order for 12 people. all his recommendations for gluing/quantity were very accurate. The...Rotisserie huh with sauce is what to order the rice and kartoffel are amazing along with the shrimp patties her Greek salate was also very good.

I tried them all. from toronto to simcoe I tried every portguese bbq space. that's the hands down. family run, portions are always huge. Eating is always fresh and tasty. sauce is amazing. can sometimes be busy when warn. I could not even order because the amount of orders they had (east weekend). this is the best place to get bbq huhn or Portuguese eat.

The best Portuguese food ever. There is no comparison to anything else except the best homemade AMD fresh daily. Lina and her family are awesome and the kind service they give is unforgettable. After the summer spent in portugal had amazing food to eat, the bar was set quite high and galina’s not disappointed. the eating was amazing and service was excellent. they went beyond and beyond for our daughter community dinner and we will return absolutely.

I went there today for the first time Food was pretty good, Portuguese cuisine is usually very tasty. As I'm Brazilian, I appreciate the good Portuguese food And to make things better, the girl a Andrea, was super cool!

great small family restaurant. eating is delicious. the staff are very friendly and willing to explain what they ask. the prices are reasonable and they can even dive if they want. a definitive return journey.
