This restaurant is a perfect example of a 5-star dining experience. It offers a refreshing change for East LA. I chose this venue to celebrate with my grandmother, and it turned out to be the ideal choice. It's easy to locate, with valet parking available, and the building is stunning both inside and out, featuring high ceilings and top-notch artwork throughout. The service exceeded my expectations; our waiter was incredibly attentive. The carne asada plate was sizable enough for two people. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a higher-end dining experience.
Beautiful jewel of a place. Quite randomly we stopped for lunch on the way from Bay Area to L.A. and are glad we did. Friendly service with sincere smiles. Enjoy our food we had made the burger and the pizza fresh and delicious. (Pineapple) agua fresca was refreshing on a hot day. We sat on the terrace in the back and it was charmingly decorated. One can say to pride and love that the people who run this café have in their business!
SOOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! We love to put a million ingredients on our pizzas and they were more than happy to give us what we asked without being too pricey. The dough is amazing and wow I just couldn't get enough. Also the interior is really nicely decorated.
Great spot to have a quick bite on the way. The only alternatives around are fast food chains, so this was an unexpected surprise. The pizza ? was well prepared and delicious. It?s not expensive. The interior is very nice too (see pictures).

Excellent place to dine for authentic Mexican food. The owner has artist artwork and paintings all over the premises. Name of the artist/painter is Yup Ruffini Tamayo! Named the restaurant after him. Enjoy!!!
Our first family experience here was good! Eating was just right and tasteful. only 2 reviews appetizers should be before eating and much too much crust on the pizza for this price.
I had dinner for my father's birthday, and it was lovely, just like always. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, which were seasoned perfectly. The service was friendly and prompt.
The restaurant offers a lovely dining atmosphere, but the food is just average. Be prepared for higher prices. If you can, try to find street parking to save on the $7 fee.

Fucking pizza! Loved the soft crust. I would have given 5 stars, but the presence of several flies in interiors was disturbing.
The food and service were excellent. I would love to see a lunch menu with smaller portion sizes.
