Very rude staff ask for a pie told just get a reply saying no,so asked what do you mean the lady said well we not got any,so when I asked why not just say sorry we have no pies left,so ordered meat potatoe pastys,got...home all burnt at bottom the other had about a tea spoon full of filling
The pies are always nice from here so it was no surprise when I ate the large minced steak pie that it was good. On this occasion I also bought a slice of chocolate fudge cake. A very generous slice it was too. A little...sweet however even for me. Very nice though.
Popped in here in the morning to buy a pie for my lunch. I couldn't decide between the chunky steak or the minced steak so I bought one of each. As it was early, I indulged in a bacon roll too. All good.

I enjoy galloways sandwiches, cakes, rolls and cakes. the personal is always very friendly and obligated. I especially like the Bavarian discs and some tarts, they are delicious and highly recommended
Not too keen on the barn cakes. Seems like they are put into plastic wrapping whilst still warm which seems to make them soggy. Bread doesn't seem to have a crispy crust either like it used to have
I call at Galloways Bakers often for lunch. They have a good selection of pies, sandwiches and cakes. I had minced steak pie and meat potato pie today. Both very nice. Convenient fast food

Good place good selection of pies/pastries etc. and sandwiches can be made if not on display may be low on availability when close to closing time
