Galu Mediterranean Grill

I did not expect to be served a traditional Sunday lunch in a Mediterranean style restaurant. But I was and thrilled with the results. I went last Sunday for a family lunch and was thanked whole heartedly by my family for choosing Galu. Apart from an extensive a la Carte menu, there is the wonderful three course Sunday lunch menu with three choices from Beef with enormous Yorkshire, lamb or chicken. We chose a flavourful tomato soup and penne with a tomato and ham sauce for starters. I organised a surprise birthday for a close friend with the help of his fiancé, and the team at Galu made the experience very smooth considering there were 38 guests! From pre ordering the dinner party set menu (which was great food everyone was happy with their order) to the seating plan. The atmosphere from other guests and the Galu team was energetic. A highlight of the night was the bar tender and resident DJ Jason playing a mix in the ending hours when food was over. The bar at this time was electric and there was plenty of space to dance! Great family run restaurant. Big shout out to John and Vas, the owners of this gem of a place in Banstead.

Am so pleased we decided to bring my mother in law here for a change. Gr8 vibe and the food from starters to dessert were just incredible. One of the best Steaks I have had in years! Moms Crab pasta tasted like the Sea which you don 't find often at all. Music was a bit loud, but then perhaps thats what brings a younger mixed crowd. We were directly under the speaker though. Managers and staff are attentave and make sure you are having a good time. Covid procedures are in place. Thank you all...we will be back soon. Keen to try that Tomahawk steak next time. And the Cocktails are amazing!

I've been to this restaurant once before during the week but Saturday night is something else party atmosphere, good is amazing, staff are friendly and efficient. I love that you pre order your food as there is no wasted time and as soon as you sit down, your food comes out. Will definitely be booking another visit very soon for the later seating at 9pm as you can then get up and have a dance! Reserva una mesa ahora

Finally came back to my beloved Galu after years of being away. Everything cooked to perfection as we have always remembered. So reasonably priced yet such amazing quality compared to that of Gaucho. Oh I wish we live next door!

Our daughter wanted to us to eat here as she said that they do perfect steaks, we ordered the meze and T-bone and can honestly say that the food was outstanding as was the service. We will certainly be coming back again soon.

We have been here 3 times now and the food is consistently good and service is always attentive and with a smile and happy to serve. Good variety of dishes and healthy dishes. I highly recommend Galu!

Alfresco Sunday Lunch with the Mrs. Vas and the ream looked after us. It was good to be back after a year. Lovely food and service as we remember it.
