A few of the latest reports seem to me to have been written in such a way as to deliberately harm the new host couple. In any case, they don't match my experiences at all. It's logical that when you change, not everything will stay exactly the same. It's also clear that not everyone likes this. If prices have remained the same for decades, then they need to be adjusted, especially since regional products are specifically taken into account and compostable packaging material is used for takeaways. As always, the joy was great. Yeah there is chicken fillet (flint) with the homemade spicy sauce. Hm takeaway box opened and there was the big disappointment. Chicken fillet looked like a ready-made product from the freezer. Correspondingly sloppy. Nothing at all to do with chicken fillet. Fries were dry and soggy. The sauce was very vinegary and the taste was anything but good. Far from spicy. The entire package is inedible. It is also 30% more expensive. The portions leave a lot to be desired. Not even half as much as its predecessor. This is a pure rip-off with poor quality. I definitely won't be going to Gambrinus again in the future.

Went here to eat for the first time today after the reopening. The whitefish fillets in the basket with French fries and spicy sauce were very tasty. No bones in the fish and the fries were well salted and crispy. The Wädenswil red wine was also very good, as was the plum sorbet with vieille prune. The manager of the house and the staff were very friendly and attentive, we would be happy to come back.

There are some of these rustic and typical Swiss restaurants. the portions are large and good. my panted black carving (actually it was yes 2) came with a lot of fries and costs 23.- also the green salat was nicely large.A grounded, smoke-free (!) and very cozy restaurant that is also well visited. well managed, friendly staff - what you want more. the restaurant gambrinus is an institution in wädenswil. the restaurant is simple but cozy. the firestone or the fish basket are simply great. the service and service top! good eating at a fair price today rather a rareness! I always like to come to gambrinus!

one of my absolute favorites restaurant. always worth a visit and also eat about the gass, practical and super fine. price performance is right and the staff is very nice.

we are all 2-3 weeks in gambrinus. the firestone with the super tasty pouletfilets is a dream. the service is also good. by :)
