The good: food was spicy, tasted good and was piping hot. Very cheap £30 for two with beer. Busy, buzzing atmosphere. The bad: cafe was full and food took some time to arrive. Two of our dishes were being delivered to the wrong table when the waiter realised, took them back to the kitchen and brought them out to us two minutes later. I watched him in the mirror! Our sides dishes arrived half way through us finishing our mains. Bread we ordered arrived as we were finishing. Slightly chaotic and, frankly, it’s a minimum expectation that dishes that go together pretty much should be delivered together. This was at a Sunday lunchtime, before a big match, so things may be different at quieter tim...
Came here because I am fed up with the place that I usually go to across the road because there I always have to wait for 45 to 60 minutes for the food to come. So I came go Gana for a change today, and I do not regret it. The service was quick and pleasant, they have a very extensive menu of Sri Lankan Dishes, we ordered 4 dishes which came quickly and tasted great, although a bit on the chilli hot side, but I liked it like that. Please beware that they do not take cards but cash only, but since there was a big sign at the entrance door, I was prepared to pay cash. Surprised at the inexpensive bill. I will come again!

It's Srilankan food cooked with a generous amount of chilli powder, I will have to say.. the menu and the dishes on offer are good... But they have got it wrong with the amount of chilli powder they use. They think the more spicy they make it, the more authentic it gets...apart from that its good for an evening meal. The prices are okay too. Please don't expect anything in terms of service.

Great Sri Lankan Restaurant , very lovely food. however the food comes spicy and hot as standard , if you prefer mild, you may wanna request it when you order. Restaurant doesn't look very sophisticated , obviously it wouldn't suit for a romantic evening. if you would like a nice meal average place. and sri lankan food. definitely worth try this place
This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for the past 12 years. The staff, particularly the chef Prem, is always amazing. I highly recommend trying the chicken curry on the bone and parathas here. If you enjoy spicy dishes, this is the perfect place for you. The service is honest and friendly.
The food was decent, but I was not pleased with the service we received. The noise coming from the kitchen was excessive, with staff literally shouting. Additionally, there were concerns about the cleanliness of the dishes being served.
Had the Gaana special Kothu Roti and by far the best I have had. The food is spicy as it represents Sri Lankan cuisine perfectly and contains bursts of flavours.
