Great setting and if we’d had the set lunch it would have been good value. A very average pasta Bolognese cost €14. I had a ‘salad’ Which was actually fried onion rings and fried chicken goujons on top of iceberg lettuce and some sliced tomatoes. At €15 that was also overpriced. However we sat outside On the terrace watching the world go by and that was very pleasant. I’m sure there are lots better places to have lunch in cognac. I must try harder to find somewhere better next time.

Nicely situated on a place where several roads meet it 's very easy to simply sit and watch people come and go and pass by. This I did in the afternoon and enjoyed it so much I went back for dinner. Good food with and interesting menu and friendly service. All in all a nice experience. Cognac isn 't too large so it was an easy walk to my hotel and only 10 minutes down to the river and centre.

Went to cognac for our anniversary and this restaurant was literally across from hotel, the great thing was our little doggie could join us. That’s what we also love about france is that your dog is welcome in near enough every bar/restaurant.

Good food and service in the centre of Cognac, Place François 1er. The Pole Saumon Hawaï salad was tastier than the chicken burger. Nice selection of wine and beer.

Comfortable welcoming all day cafe . Usual brasserie menu with something for everyone . Good location to have a lingering lunch and watch the world go by .
