Garden State Deli - Reserva de mesa

This is by far the best New York-style deli I've discovered in New Jersey after living here for 20 years, having moved from Staten Island. Without a doubt, it's the best! I visited yesterday and tried the fresh mozzarella Italian hero, and today I had their renowned homemade roast beef sandwich, complete with homemade mozzarella, caramelized onions, and gravy on a toasted hero. This roast beef sandwich sells out within a couple of hours every Tuesday, so I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order! I devoured the entire sandwich and completely forgot to take a photo, LOL. Everyone needs to check out this place!

I was in search of a good meal during a break from teaching at the fire academy, so I found this place just 6 minutes away. I called in my order, and I have to say, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. As someone who frequently visits great delis, that's saying a lot! I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich with peppers, fresh mozzarella, and balsamic. The cutlet was still warm, the bread was perfectly balanced—not too soft and not too hard. The service was friendly, and the price was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning!

I never do reviews but felt like I needed to. I never did a catering order from here because we always have used another place. Well let me tell you from the moment I called the girl who answered the phone was amazing and so professional. We honestly only gave them a few days notice and they were so sweet and were able to cater for us. The food was amazing. The owner was amazing. From now on I will only be using them for my catering orders. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic place, Amazing welcoming atmosphere, caring and kind people, food out of this world and very versatile for almost any food you might be craving for . I typically get their breakfast sandwiches and it?s an amazing filling sandwich every single time as well as very affordable. Their roast beef sandwiches on Wednesday is to die for, and their meatball subs are too good to be true. I highly recommend to stop by and try them out!! Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is amazing, the sandwiches are incredible, and they serve the best fries I've ever had. The Chicken Cutlet Sub with provolone cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo is out of this world—truly incredible. We need more places that are dedicated to serving great food like this one. Wishing nothing but success for them!
