Delicious Japanese American/Hawaiian restaurant! This great little diner is tucked in the front of a local bowling alley and serves great Japanese American/Hawaiian food. They serve many Japanese and Asian dishes, as well as American diner fare, including breakfast dishes and sandwiches. The coffee shop includes Hawaiian staples into several of their dishes (e.g. Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage, Kalua pork, saimin noodles, etc. . The diner food is great too I had the chili rice and the chili was very tasty, and I consider myself a chili connoisseur. But the Japanese dishes are delicious as well. Their menu is very complete and robust. Tremendous find. The venue is a bit small, so probably no l...

Had been a great fan of Gardena bowl but everything changes. The last couple times, the chicken in the oyakodon was cold and rubbery, you could tell it had been cooked hours before. This time we ordered the tempura teriyaki, the steak was thin and jerky tough, the rice lukewarm and the serving sizes have been substantially reduced. As for atmosphere, it gets so loud with each table of customers trying to talk over the voices of the adjacent table, it gets exponentially louder, to the point you can't hear yourself think none the less have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Perhaps Gardena Bowl is a victim of it's own success. Accountants begin making culinary decisions and ho...
1st time here. I have been seeing IG posts about this place and my Husband and I decided to stop in. I am in love with this lil cafe. I ordered the Hawaiian Royal which was absolutely delicious. Such a big order I will definitely have some for lunch tomorrow. My Husband ordered the Beef Chicken Teriyaki combo with Fried rice and let me tell you he devoured it. The plate is practically clean. We will be back. I highly recommend for Ya'll to come and eat.
What an amazing neighborhood joint. Food is amazing and surprisingly large portion. It was little busy when we went there on Saturday night for dinner and bowling. But the wait wasn’t too long. Great place for Hawaiian and Asian food, in addition to the usual diner food. Enjoyed loco moco chicken katsu and beef as well as the egg foo yong. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes Reserva una mesa ahora
The fries were very good they were extra crispy, and the atmosphere is perfect and aesthetic, and the spam musubi it's not that salty and lts not underseasonded and the crispy tempura veggies are crisped to perfection its way better than the ones in sushi shops, we also had the Hawaiian Royale, and the miso soup is so good it even has noodles ....written by a 10 year old!
More than a coffee shop. There is a vast menu of Asian cuisine and some American favorites. Great service, food freshly prepared After eating or before there is a bowling alley to work up an appetite. Food was visually appealing.
It's old as dirt, but that's kinda what I like about it. I've been coming here since I was a kid It hasn't changed a bit. For nostalgic reasons, I enjoy Gardena bowl. The coffee ship food is good, the prices are reasonable
A true local hole in the wall, this is a great old school diner that serves Hawaiian inspired breakfast and lunch food. The place was packed, but we got a seat quickly and got great service. Reserva una mesa ahora
For a total random hole in the wall in a bowling alley this place is awesome. Planing on returning. Very nice staff and seams like a lot of regular customers that the staff knew by name.
