8 of us had the festive menu last night and each of us really enjoyed it. I had the pate to begin, really delicious and plentiful. others had suppe or cocktails and not complaining of someone. the turquoise was cooked quite properly, not dry at all, boil in may not cover so much, a crisp over boiled and crispy for me, but do not spoil the meal (and I still ate it) and desserts. the xmas pudding was delicious, the others said the cheesecake was very nice and only one said the chocolate orange cake was not great, but it could not have been so bad because someone else ended it out, I still have serious food jealous though, when I saw that the cheese and cookies go out on another table, it looke...
My friend and I have been eating lunch at the pub for about 12 months. The food is home cooked on the premises and the quality and variety of the menu is excellent. My friend is vegetarian and she is pleased with the veggie choices too. The service is excellent. The owners are always very welcoming. At the outset of Covid 19 the pub was closed, however they offered a delivery service twice a week. This was a life saver for me because I could not get a supermarket delivery so it was great to have my food delivered to my door. I had my daughter here to baptize celebration and nothing was too much annoyed a beautiful little area was given in the pub, the personal and peculiarities were so attentive, nothing was too much annoyed, in which we all enjoyed eating so much that we stayed for our evening meal. beautiful house boiled pizzas it was a wonderful day
Great food and great atmosphere. All home made and i had the steak pie from the skinny menu. Fantastic place and staff super friendly, the chief took pride in his home made pie for the ploughmans and he had every right too. All food here is home made and amazing. We knew nothing about the Gardeners Arms and called in because we needed a quick lunch. I’m so glad we did. It was simple, wholesome food well cooked and tasty. The pub was clean and tide=y, very welcoming with a warm fire on a cold day. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
