We celebrated Valentine's Day at this charming restaurant, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. They had a DJ, and I think they even offer dancing! The food was fantastic. My husband ordered the steak, which was an excellent cut—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I tried the breaded shrimp and they were delicious—tender and bursting with flavor. We also loved the salsas; the salsa verde was milder in spiciness but still packed with taste. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I particularly appreciated the staff. They were all incredibly polite and attentive, always ready to assist.
Technically 3.5. Food was good and the serving portion is large. Disappointing that some food items on the menu weren't available and that was the reason I wanted to try the place. Also, gratuity was added automatically for 2 people. I didn't notice it until it was too late. They should at least inform the customers that it is added automatically as we ended up paying double tip. So beware. I'll still try them again but will call ahead if they have what I want. If not, then I'll pass.
Not a fan of Mexican food but went for the DJ chillX event. The food was horrible! No flavor at all, dry and bland. No one in our party enjoyed the food at all. The drinks were mediocre at best. $10 margaritas were mediocre and a shot of Hennessy was $12! The icing on the cake was when we ordered our last margarita and the bartender tried to keep the change. A $10 tip on a $10 margarita? I think not. Unethical and unacceptable! Street parking only which is another annoyance.
Dining at the Garibaldi Mexican Restaurant and Tequila bar was like visiting a traditional Mexican town. From the vibrant atmosphere and authentic cuisine to the hospitable wait staff Grandioso!! If I could give this restaurant twenty stars I would. Mucho Gusto Cynthia and Reina!

The initial dirty tablecloth and emptiness on a Friday evening should have been a warning. The restaurant is better seen as a bar if you would like to be in a lively environment. The food is below subpar. Food was not fresh and ranged from under seasoned to spoiled.
The food here is outstanding! They have live music from 5 PM onwards, Friday through Sunday, including mariachis on both Fridays and Sundays. The service is excellent, and Juan, our waiter, was particularly attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. The prices were reasonable for what you get. I would definitely consider going back, especially since they seem to have a DJ after around 8 PM.
I liked their food,it's tasty but definitely their prices are on the expensive side. Alcoholic drinks are good. I wish they had more dessert options and the music wasn't so loud so early at night.
