yes, they have read correctly, there is apparently no internet connection and therefore no possibility to pay electronically. they have put this on a small sign on the door, but if they take place on the terrace, they will not know until they try to pay. if they sit on our bike and have only one card, they have a problem. either one of your fellow travelers will stay back while you're going to go because on the Rhine to get some cash, or you'll leave your ID there. the least they could do is place it clearly on the menu, the tables, etc. when we talked to the manager, she was quite indifferent. So... we'll never return here again. eating is average, no sandwiches to lunch

Direkt an der europäischen Radwanderroute gelegen, etwa 10km vom Zentrum Basels Richtung Freiburg entfernt. Durchmischte Kundschaft, vom Radfahrer oder Spaziergänger, Rentner oder Familien war alles dabei.Eine Auswahl an Mittagsgerichten, Fleisch, Fisch und vegetarisch ist gegeben, ebenso Kuchen oder Eisvariationen.Ich habe mich für den Melonensalat mit Pesto und Hirtenkäse entschieden. Klang interessant und passt wirklich sehr gut zusammen, siehe ich das Foto. Dazu ein alkoholfreies Hefe und es kann weiter gehen mit dem Radl. Allerdings hätten es ein oder zwei Euro weniger für diese Kreation auch getan.Generell aber zu empfehlen!

Ein gewiss nettes Ausflugslokal, mit Auto, Fahrrad und Boot gut zu erreichen. Eine grosse Terrasse zum Rhein, gute Getränkekarte und verschiedene Tagesgerichte. Das System der Bedienung ist undurchschaubar. Zunächst geht es flott mit den Getränken, für die Bestellung des Essens dauert es eine Ewigkeit, und zur grossen Überraschung kommt es dann auch schon innerhalb weniger Minuten. Schade um die Pfifferlinge, die ich bestellt hatte - die Sahnesosse hat sie ersäuft ! Der Salat hätte auch ein besseres Dressing verdient. 20 Euro ausgegeben eigentlich nur für en schönes Bier mit Rheinblick.

confusing confusion with eating when we decided to change our order when we found out that spade was on the menu. then the food that arrived was not even what we had originally ordered (scarved not cordon bleu). when we realized that we wanted to say something, but nobody could ask, no waiter came by, so we just ate the food and asked to pay at the end for what we had. they refused and forced us to pay more money for eating that we didn't get. we paid, just so we could go. terrible end of a moderate eating. . . without the terrible service it might have been one

beautiful view of the river and beautiful sitting corner in the sun. perfect for a drink. If you want to eat too lunch or dinner, you better not go here. tasteless eating, salad in Bizzaire sauce, long service and high prices. I was asked to pay the bill before I finished the main court
