We have just come back from a 4 night stay at Gasthof Christophorus and can happily recommend the place. We stayed in room 10 which was spacious, warm, spotlessly clean with a comfy bed. What more could you want? (Okay, a double duvet on the bed, rather than two singles would have been nice but that certainly didn’t spoil our stay). Breakfast was help yourself, with decent choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese meat definitely set us up for a day on the slopes. The evening meals were really good, three courses with a choice of main each night. The Wiener schnitzel with salad buffet was a particular favourite of mine, but all of them were good. We stayed at this hotel in March 17' for 5 days.We found our stay quiet comfortable, The rooms were clean & tidy.Breakfast consisted of the usual, Eggs, ham, cheese & bread rolls (they could benefit from having some croissants)We never ate dinner there so I cannot comment on that end of it.The Hotel is in a good location with a Spar 2 minutes walk away, The staff were friendly.If I had to say one critical thing about this Hotel, and maybe Austria in general it would be the smoking, As a non smoker, to be served a beer from across the hotel bar from the waitress that has a cigarette hanging from her mouth is...... well..... a little disgusting from my point of view.Other than that we left hap...
On the first day to the resort we needed something to eat and decided to go into the first restaurant we came across, what a good find. Even though they were ready to stop serving, they allowed us to order two vienna schnitzels with chips and a beer. Can't remember the exact cost but we were impressed with the taste and quantity.We logged onto the free wifi, which was the best we found all week.If I'm I the area again this will be the first place I'll visit.
Stopped by here by chance a our hotel doesn't do meals on a Thursday evening.... Definitely a great decision. I ordered kaspressknoedel (being vegi) and my partner schnitzel. Both dishes were huge and tasted amazing. The service was friendly and reasonably efficient and our server had good English... Far better than our Ferman!! Christophorous offers a cost atmosphere with a vert tasty Italian based menu. Went there on a fairly busy Monday but had quick service and the food served with short waiting. Had a delicious beef soup, extremely well prepared Tortelini ( best ever tasted), a pizza with salat (best crust tasted) and a very good tiramisu for dessert. All at a very fair prize. We give Christophorous our best recommendations
