a little outside the small town new burg, at the rande of the North Black Forest, and in the enztal flows an idyllic stream called eyach from a romantic valley to the enz. at this place, surrounded by forest, leads a bridge over the water, and exactly there is this gas house for decades. built in a black forest style, with small dining room and large terrace directly on the bach, it offers a welcoming view. the food offered are regional, and some are the trout dishes of forellen breeding right next door. We drove past this place and decided to stop for lunch, which was being served until 2pm. The terrace was rather near the road, so it was bit noisy, but we enjoyed watching the trams go across the level crossing and stopping at the tram stop (3 passed while we were there). We were served by a slightly abrupt but efficient lady in traditional costume. Four bikers who arrived just after we ordered were told that they were too late for a hot meal (it was 1.45pm). We enjoyed our Schnitzel and chips which was beautifully cooked. Park opposite, or just inside the entrance to the trout farm/Eyachmühle.

After a few days walk we drove past this terrace and returned to have a cold local beer. We were greeted with a smile (behind a mask naturally) and could choose a table for ourselves. Usually we order a small dish of some types of local specialties with our beer, but this was not on the menu. But shortly after the arrival of our beers we also got a plate of scharwzwalder ham on some bread slices. The lady told us that she didn't usually do this and that she had used her own bread. What a beautiful surprise and it define a smile on our faces. This is the extra service you don't always get. Bravo!

No star deserves, we were on the trip home and have been looking for an economy for over an hour in which we get something to eat. The inn was empty while we opened the door, the operation already went quietly in the mask into the old mill. We didn't even get an answer to our hello, and if my husband sat in the mask, can you sit back? We decided to go back. If you don't need any clientele, it wouldn't be easy to open. This inn does not see us again, definitely no recommendation.

Operation is very intrusive, unfriendly and seems to live something in its own world. We decided spontaneously to drink only something so that we had no longer to stay.The inn and the terrace are rather unattended, and you could have overlooked it. The boss and the boss seem to be the best customers, at least in terms of alcoholic beverages.

make them a picture! here are the pächters of restaurants friendly, but must be used. the cleanliness of the employees can be desired so that we would rather take care of everything and we had taken a drink to look for another place. the interieur, as well as the outer design of the restaurant is beautifully decorated.

I can't say anything for dinner because we just asked other guests about the way. The staff came hysterically and answered in an unfriendly and screaming tone that you could read the redirection signs. One reason definitely not to want to eat here if you have to. Reserva una mesa ahora

Not a big place, but cozy. Attentive and kind waitress, Excellent schnitzel and jagertopfle(?). The river runs right by. Too much traffic noise to be perfect. But enjoyable, and a great value
