Versteckt in der Nähe der HTL Mödling befindet sich das beschriebene Lokal am Fuße des Anningers. Im Sommer empfiehlt sich der schattige Gastgarten welcher auch an heißen Augusttagen ein angenehmes Klima bietet. Reichhaltige Speisekarte, ausgezeichnete Süßspeisen, ungarische und österreichische Küche, meiner Meinung nach zu groß gehaltener Raucherbereich, dieser wirkt beim Betreten des Lokales störend, freundliches Personal, Preise im oberen Bereich sind aber auf Grund der Qualität der Speisen durchaus gerechtfertigt, Menü wochentags € 6,90, Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle,
we were both past this place (this is a gas house not gas house! who were often so pleasantly surprised that it was not only open, but really busy on Monday. many parking spaces are at the moment opposite what was practical. we just ordered main courses that were as good as the portions were very generous. we had the connection with croquettes and a beautiful sauce and also the filet of wild boar. gravy was provided on request. both courses were delicious, washed with their Burgenland house wine. service was prompt and all staff were very pleasant we back!
to be fair my eating was in order, but the vegetarian option for my wife was terrible. the waiter but was rude and when I had decided what to tell me, he was not in a hurry and had all the night also when I asked... for the bill he ignored me and went one table next to us and then brought about the bill. I was looking for the owner who brought us to our table to tell him how we left, but unfortunately he wasn't there.
wir hatten einen salat mit Schafkäse. kein Highlight, aber soweit ok, die gefüllten Paprika allerdings - ganz, ganz schlimm. rohes faschiertes und roher reis in den Paprika eingefüllt und dann in wasser gekocht. die Sauce dazu vermutlich convinience. in einem ungarischen lokal hätte ich mir erwartet, dass sie gerade dieses gericht können.
