Gasthaus Krenn - Reservar una mesa

It was a holiday today in Austria (Ascension Day) so many eateries were closed. Thankfully I saw the reviews for this gem, in the sweet town of Durgg. The staff was able to give us a table and thanks to a tip from a server, I ordered the Bauerbratl (today's special). The pork was tender and so good! The side slaw salad was sweet and sour and so good. .I loved the ambience, a local family was celebrating aa birthday in the large dining room so we got to hear happy birthday sung in German! All in all, a great treat to eat here!

This wonderful restaurant is worth the drive as it is tucked away in this little village. The food and service are excellent and it is stylish with Austrian charm. This is a very special restaurant and suitable for special occasions. You will love it. The village however does not allow vehicles, so parking is provided outside the village and the walk to the restaurant is a only few minutes.

The restaurant is located in the heart of small village on the end of way, but is definitely worth visit. The atmosphere is unchanging and very authentic. The food is tasty and the service is friendly and attentive.

Tucked away in the mountains this hidden gem is incredible. The service and the ambiance is amazing. Loved it!
