We 've now been in Ehrwald for three days and eaten at four restaurants. Tonight 's ranks as one of the best so far. The restaurant itself is in a lovely location overlooking the town and at night it 's really beautiful. The ambience inside is warm and...welcoming, the waitresses in traditional costume and the decor inviting and colourful. All in all a good start. The owner is lovely. Her English is amazing and her sense of humour infectious. We 're made to feel very welcome and she explains what the menu means and what 's good to try if you 're the adventurous type... which we are! we went here to the recommendation of our renter and had a wonderful evening meal. eating was absolutely first advice and service very friendly and welcoming. they have a great selection of dresses on the menu and we were all satisfied with our selections, enjoyed them and the entire experience. I can't understand why this restaurant in TripAdvisor rankings is not higher, it certainly deserves to be much higher in my opinion.
the place is located just down the track at the Ehrwald Wettersteinbahn and just the nice and Austrian home style restaurant you are seeking It's cozy and not to big but offers you delicious home made food and drinks, service is really nice (seems like...a family business) and prices reasonable. And for the kids you just have a playground outside. and the view is just amazing. Makes you come back for more
what a beautiful place to enjoy her dinner. as it claims, a panoramic view of the forest. my man and I had the Schnitzel Special. it came with a delicious salatable. the evening meal was a large part a nicely prepared. our server has done its best to explain in English. Everything's good. I would definitely recommend if they stay in the opposite.
