the gasthaus schenk is a regional restaurant in michelfeld, which offers among other things carving in oversized. beside a (root) carving you can also order many other inn-typical diners. the personal is usually friendly and it is in the guest room for family celebrations as well as in a large dance room for weddings or corporate celebrations. the staff is friendly and the dishes are quickly prepared. a problem are sometimes the parking places, of which there are too few too times and they often have to park on the road in front of the place. P.S, who can't eat so much, should rather be on the carving of a child who still has a fair size.
probably we just had a bad time on the day – if I read the enthusiastic reviews here. after a really long waiting period, a large but really thin carving was served me, hard at the limit of well seasoned to salt. also the pommes I got at the place of the ordered kartoffel salad. also the sweet salad, actually always up, this time was really a guess. the critique of carving was taken into account. no more, no less.
eating is really top,but it takes stop.Not more surprising since restaurant is very well visited. service : type of auxiliary waitress ! not bad,but professionalism to guests is lacking. for that are the prices ok you can't have everything or yet? we focus on eating and the walk after.The rest takes 'man' to buy.
for me with the best carving and cordon bleu in the region! clean, friendly service, bright equipment! super prices, we drive at least 1x in the month just 45 km to enjoy these delightful! try the scavengers with a curly and roast sauce and the fantastic ice cups!
