My wife and I had lunch here a couple of times on January and then we also spent a few days on vacation on April. It’s a REAL farm (Hof) and it’s 700 year old, perfectly remodeled still using the old wood. This is not a trendy-fancy nouvelle cuisine restaurant. This is a farm-restaurant for real people loving real and genuine food. Milk, butter, beef and porc meat are produced at the farm… and you can notice it “at the first bite”.The Wiener Schnitzel is so tender you can only use your fork.Frau Martina is the “angel” of this little corner of heaven on Earth. She is very kind and always available (she also speaks English and Italian).

we arrived by chance in this valley and we ate here twice and it is a very characteristic restaurant in a beautiful place. the food is really good, the best wienerschnitzel ever tasted, we will be back as soon as possible. the old alexander wolf is entertaining with everyone and even this would deserve a stop. A friend of theirs sells homemade butter, eggs sheep's salami. let yourself be addressed by martin.

to get there is not easy; after the brenner to S.Jodok turn right and still right to the valley of vals and then climb for steep bends until you arrive in a beautiful false plateau, in fact near the brenner, reachable for the paths of course well marked! the local is in a beautiful alpine context and a stop is worth the cordiality, the availability ' of the managers and the good bill for the dishes.

very large room, warm and with fine furnishings. Nice bathroom, but without soap and hairdryer.Good and Tyrolean cuisine. Nice owner, beautiful, kind and speaks Italian. The place is isolated and the road to reach it is uphill and full of hairpin bends. Winter tyres and/or chains are indispensable in winter.
